The Dome at Grautaneset offers a nature experience that's a little out of the ordinary. Here, you can unwind, relax, and enjoy the silence – with no neighbors in sight, only panoramic views of the sea, majestic landscapes, towering mountains, and sunsets that many describe as unforgettable.
The dome is designed for two adults but also features a sofa bed, making it possible for additional guests to join in on this unique experience – where mountains meet the sea in spectacular surroundings.
Enjoy an evening soak in the hot tub under the starry sky and let the calm wash over you late into the night. The dome is equipped with a wood-burning stove for chilly days, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere even when the weather is rough.
In addition, the dome has a small private kitchen with cooking facilities and a refrigerator, as well as a private bathroom with a toilet and shower.
The Dome is equipped with everything you need for an unforgettable stay:
- Wood-fired hot tub (we clean and change the water between each guests, and we’ll have it heated before your arrival)
- Shower and toilet
- Gas-powered stovetops.
- Gas-powered refrigerator.
- Minibar (items can be paid for on-site by card or Vipps)
- Barbecue
- French press for coffee (Coffee is provided in the dome upon arrival)
- Wood-burning oven for cold days.
- Private parking (200 meters from the dome)
- Plumbed water
- Kitchen utensils (pots, pans, etc.)
- Cutlery, glasses, wine glasses, and mugs
- Towels and bathrobes
- Made-up double bed
Practical information:
- The Dome does not have a conventional electricity connection, which adds to the peaceful and authentic experience. All heating, cooking, and hot water run on gas. A small solar panel system provides basic lighting, but there is no facility to charge electronic devices. We therefore recommend that guests bring their own power banks if they wish to charge phones or similar devices during their stay.
Unfortunately, pets are not allowed at Grautaneset, but Veiset Dog Kennel, is just a 10-minute drive away.
Free parking is available, and it’s about a 200-meter walk along a forest path to reach the Dome.
